AI-POD is a transformative initiative set out to revolutionise obesity-related disease prediction for cardiovascular disease.

The mission of AI-POD is to significantly improve the risk assessment and management of obesity-related vascular disease. This is achieved through developing a unique AI-based risk prediction score and Clinical Decision Support System, both guided by a wealth of individual patient data. We also strive to create a Citizen App that integrates real-time monitoring of diet and lifestyle into standard risk assessment, forming a fully digitalized feedback loop between patients and clinicians. Through these innovative tools, we aim to empower clinicians and patients alike and transform the standard of care for obesity-related diseases, potentially shaping future treatment strategies and guidelines.

The establishment of the Stakeholder Board and the upcoming End-User Webinar represent significant milestones in the AI-POD project’s mission to transform healthcare through AI-driven decision support systems. By fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous feedback, AI-POD is committed to make a profound impact on the healthcare landscape. The purpose of this webinar is to provide an introduction to the AI-POD project and gather valuable feedback from stakeholders and end-users on ways to facilitate collaboration. The webinar will bring together clinicians, researchers, scientific community, patients/citizens, policy- and decision-makers, obesity-related professional societies, regulatory bodies, and others. Join us as we embark on this transformative journey together.
